About Joe Namath

joe namath products When you think of Joe Namath, the first thing to come to mind is his outstanding football career at the collegiate level, as well as the professional level. He led the Alabama Crimson Tide to a National Championship in 1964. Later that year, after entering the NFL and AFL draft, Namath was signed by the New York Jets, where he would soon be known as “Broadway Joe”. The high point of his career was his performance in Super Bowl III, where he also earned the title of MVP. Namath’s Jets shocked the world and defeated the Baltimore Colts 16-7. Days before the big game, Namath “guaranteed” a victory and is still remembered today for making that claim. Namath’s hard work and dedication for 13 seasons paid off when he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985.
