It also saves time and uses less fuel than traditional grilling units. While most grills take 15-20 minutes to reach 600° F, the Namath Rapid Cooker only takes 5 minutes to heat up to 1,200°F! While your neighbor’s grill is still preheating, you are eating! And don’t worry about size. With the 11”x13” cooking area, you can easily fit (at a time) six ½ lb. hamburgers, six ears of corn, 6 large strip steaks, a whole pizza, over a dozen hot dogs or sausages, a platter of nachos, two 3 lb. loins, 6 pieces of fish, most pans and casserole dishes, soup crocks, and more! The infrared heat is concentrated, intensifying the cooking process! This means a more even heat, allowing for consistent temperatures and faster, better quality cooking. Say goodbye to dry food! The Namath Rapid Cooker by EdenPURE® uses propane-powered far infrared as its heat source. Far infrared cooks much faster than all other heat sources, because it cooks and heats the food, not the air. Gas and charcoal grills can only approach temperatures around 600° F. The Namath Rapid Cooker can reach up to 1,200° F temperatures, which seals in flavor, juices and nutrition in foods. Unlike other grills, the heat source is on the top, not the bottom (like a broiler). Cooking from the top down eliminates flare-ups and excess smoke because grease drips harmlessly onto an easy-to-clean, removable tray, instead of directly on the heat source as with traditional grills. The slide-out grate is adjustable to three heights and makes for easy cooking and maintaining a consistent temperature. This keeps you safely away from open flames or flare-ups while cooking. With the adjustable height lever, you can move the food closer or further from the heat, allowing you to get that perfect finished product. There is also no lid to lift to inspect your food like a traditional grill, which results in inconsistent heat, uneven cooking, and temperature loss. Clean up is simple. No other grill can do what the Namath Rapid Cooker does. Start with versatile cooking. With 3 adjustable height settings (High, Medium, Low) and 3 adjustable temperature settings (High, Medium, Low) you can truly customize the way you cook. If you want high, intense heat to sear meats and vegetables, choose the ‘High’ temperature setting on the ‘High’ height level. This zone will reach temperatures of up to 1,200° F. If you want to cook lower and slower, decrease the temperature by lowering the regulator to the ‘Low’ setting and drop down to the ‘Low’ height level for a temperature around 300° F. From steak, chicken, seafood, pork, vegetables, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and desert, you can do just about anything on the Namath Rapid Cooker. Our culinary expert, Chef Jon recommends cooking most foods on the ‘High’ temperature setting, adjusting the height level as needed, to achieve the desired doneness. This is how most professional chefs cook.

The Rapid Cooker is also safe to use on any surface. Nearly all of the heat is contained between the top of the unit and the drawer; meaning the bottom of the unit stays cool. You can cook on top of plastic, glass, wood, or metal. Weighing in at only 38 lbs., the Rapid Cooker also features built-in carrying handles. This makes it easy to quickly set up your Rapid Cooker or carry it places like the car or garage.
The Namath Rapid Cooker is adaptable. You have the option of using a 1 lb. propane tank (not included but available at many retailers and grocers) or a 20 lb. propane tank with the Namath Rapid Cooker Propane Adapter Hose (sold separately). This makes trips to the park, campground or game more fun and less hassle. The top of the unit is large enough to fit a standard baking sheet or foil pan to hold items as a warming tray during cooking.
The amount of convenient features continues with the easy cleaning aspects. The drawer, cooking grate and drip tray all remove from the unit and can be hand washed or placed in the dishwasher. The cooking grate is made from 304 grade stainless steel, meaning it will hold up to many years of cooking, wear and tear. This is why commercial kitchens use this same steel for their equipment. The exterior shell is also made of the same, high quality U.S.A. stainless steel. There is a battery powered, electric push button ignition for easy lighting (battery included). The Rapid Cooker assembly is simple and takes only a few minutes. A smaller, more concentrated cooking area also means that you can cook faster, cleaner, and use less time, energy and propane.
